God's love is not measured by how perfect we are or how much we deserve it. It flows from His very nature-unconditional, faithful, eternal.
The Meaning of God’s Steadfast Love
Steadfast implies firm, unwavering, and constant. In the original Hebrew, the word being used for love here is "hesed," which speaks of the covenant love of God-His loyal, merciful, and faithful affection for His people. God's love for you will not just walk away when you stumble. It holds on to us, forgives us, and patiently restores us. Jeremiah uttered those words in the greatest agony but found consolation as he remembered that God's love had not come to an end; His mercies were new every morning.God's Love in Day-to-Day Life
Every morning that you wake up tells you that God has not given up on you. His mercies are renewed every morning, not because we earned it but because He chooses to show compassion. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your steadfast love that never fails. Even when I wander away, Your mercy calls me home. Help me to rest in the truth that Your love is constant, unchanging, and new every morning. Strengthen my faith to trust You more deeply each day. Amen in Jesus' name.
