Topic: Love That Reflects God

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.”— 1 John 4:7 (KJV)
Devotional Message
Love is more than just a feeling; it is a divine quality. Scripture says that love comes from God. In our everyday lives, we are mirroring the very nature of God when we make the decision to love others with authenticity—beyond convenience, emotion, or self-interest.
John, the apostle, reminds Christians that love is a sign of spiritual rejuvenation. To show that we really know God is to love as He loves. This love is selfless, forgiving, patient, and caring. It transcends boundaries, mends strained bonds between people, and gets rid of anger.
God calls His children to live differently in a world that is becoming more and more divided, hateful, and self-centred. Our affection should be evident. When words fail, it should speak, and when others turn away, it should take action. For a believer, loving one another is essential to our faith and is not an option.
We become tools of harmony, healing, and hope when we let God's love flow through us. Today is a chance to show God's love by being humble, compassionate, and understanding.
